The flame-retardant masterbatches that can be promoted are halogen-based (Br, Cl), phosphorus-based (red phosphorus, phosphorus compounds, etc.), nitrogen-based (usually called intumescent flame-retardant masterbatch) and inorganic flame-retardant masterbatch (hydrogen Mainly alumina, magnesium hydroxide, etc.).

Halogen-based flame-retardant masterbatch (masterbatch) is currently the most respected flame-retardant masterbatch in most resins. However, it has poor color coordination, poor compatibility, low oxygen index, and influence on processing technology. Many shortcomings such as low applicability can only be used by special industries. Intumescent flame-retardant masterbatch has a narrower application range due to its low flame-retardant efficiency and easy "foaming". Inorganic flame retardant masterbatch, such as magnesium hydroxide. Its flame-retardant products are environmentally friendly, do not emit toxic gases, emit small amounts of smoke, and have a high oxygen index of flame-retardant plastics. However, due to the excessive addition of the ideal flame-retardant standard and the natural inconsistency of inorganic and organic substances, Although the finished products obtained after modification are still difficult to meet the needs of most industries, their promotion is subject to certain restrictions.
